Subject: Street Fighter Xvs Tekken Thoughts and Opinions Mon Jul 26, 2010 7:11 pm
Now hopefully nobody wrote about this and even if they did there's no need for my fucking thread to get closed bcs other people may want to talk about it or didn't catch it when or if somebody had put it up SO ADMIN let it rock for now TY Besides that i just got word that a SF vs Tekken game will be getting released sometime at the end of this year or the start of next year. Now i'm a big SF guy and also love Tekken too especially Tekken Tag which i felt was the best Tekken of all time BUT SF vs Tekken is going to be EPIC. I believe it will be a complete MASTERPIECE they have the Tekken TAG mechanics as well as the SF4 mechanics mixed into 1 game with Epic fighters and Gameplay ofcourse. With this said Give your thoughts, ideas, opinions ON THE GAME ...NO FLAMING of any sort...AND IDC if the thread was created in the past just keep the peace and if u got nothing good to say then i advice to just STFU .....GG OUT

Moving it to Gamers Lounge. Plus I heard they're gonna do it on Tekken's engine (With their graphics and physics), and I wanna see that.

i hope it runs in street fighters engine honestly i jsut think its so much smoother either way its not gonna be bad though just think s4's physics engine would put it over the top

I heard it was gonna be done in both engines, that's why I wanna see it run on Tekken's, cause I've already seen it on SF's, lol.

I honestly think it's going to suck. Street Fighter is 2d, and Tekken is 3d. I don't really see how you can combine the two.

They said that both companies will be releasing their own version of the game, but Namco (Tekken) doesnt have their details sorted out yet and have not made an official announcement, only Capcom (SF) so far ...
But the biggest fighting game announcement of the year was Marvel vs Capcom 3 !!! I dunno if y'all played Okami but I fkn loved that game and they announced this week that the main character Ameratasu (the White Wolf aka Sun Goddess) from Okami will be in MvC3 ... Here's the trailer ... EPIC !!!!!!!!!!

I played Okami. And I thought it was overrated. Too repetitive, didn't like the brush thing to repair/cut shit and fights were just about hitting square all the time... So yeah, I didn't like it, lol.

I agree the game was WAY too long, but the intent and mechanics of the game were some of my favorite, the brush was new and awesome, and the art style was amazing ... But by the end I was just "grinding" it out LOL to finish it ...
